Dark Chocolate Strawberry Dips (Printable Version)

Juicy strawberries coated in dark chocolate with optional nuts and drizzled white chocolate toppings.

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit

01 - 20 large fresh strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried, leaves intact

→ Chocolate

02 - 7 oz high-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped

→ Optional Toppings

03 - 2 tbsp chopped toasted nuts (e.g., pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts)
04 - 2 tbsp white chocolate, melted (for drizzling)
05 - 2 tbsp sprinkles or edible glitter

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Place the chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and melt it over a saucepan of simmering water using the double boiler method, stirring until smooth. Alternatively, microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until fully melted.
03 - Holding each strawberry by the leaves, dip it into the melted chocolate, twirling to coat evenly.
04 - Allow excess chocolate to drip off, then place the coated strawberry onto the prepared baking sheet.
05 - If desired, immediately sprinkle with chopped nuts or sprinkles before the chocolate sets. For a white chocolate drizzle, wait until the dark chocolate has hardened, then drizzle melted white chocolate using a fork or piping bag.
06 - Continue dipping and decorating the remaining strawberries following the previous steps.
07 - Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes or refrigerate briefly for faster firming.
08 - Serve the dipped strawberries chilled or at room temperature for best enjoyment.
